The family room has an Arts and Crafts influence incorporating comfortable, overstuffed upholstery the ultimate family abode. I updated the heavy floral curtains and lifeless furniture. The entertainment unit was custom made in the Arts and Crafts style to match the cocktail and end tables.
The library’s masterpiece is the wall-to-wall, ceiling-to-floor built-in bookcases sheltering a window seat.
Walking into the home, a carved solid oak door greets visitors with its beveled lead glass windows. The cool sea grass green walls continue up the oak staircase.
The powder room off the kitchen has two-toned walls to bring depth to the small space.
